7 El rey gritó fuertemente que trajeran a los encantadores, a los caldeos y a los adivinos. El rey habló, y dijo a los sabios de Babilonia: Cualquiera que pueda leer esta inscripción y declararme su interpretación, será vestido de púrpura, llevará un collar de oro al cuello y tendrá autoridad como tercero en el reino.
7 The king summoned the enchanters, astrologers and diviners. Then he said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around his neck, and he will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.”
