Psalm 70

HNV

MSG

1 <<For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder.>> Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, LORD.
1 God! Please hurry to my rescue! God, come quickly to my side!
2 Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
2 Those who are out to get me - let them fall all over themselves. Those who relish my downfall - send them down a blind alley.
3 Let them be turned because of their shame Who say, "Aha! Aha!"
3 Give them a taste of their own medicine, those gossips off clucking their tongues.
4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your yeshu`ah continually say, "Let God be exalted!"
4 Let those on the hunt for you sing and celebrate. Let all who love your saving way say over and over, "God is mighty!"
5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer, LORD, don't delay.
5 But I've lost it. I'm wasted. God - quickly, quickly! Quick to my side, quick to my rescue! God, don't lose a minute.
