21 E il giorno seguente immolarono delle vittime in onore dell’Eterno, e gli offrirono degli olocausti: mille giovenchi, mille montoni, mille agnelli, con le relative libazioni, e altri sacrifizi in gran numero, per tutto Israele.

1 Chronicles 29:21

And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the Lord
David and the congregation:

and offered burnt offerings unto the Lord on the morrow after that day;
not having time enough on that day to perform, at least not all of them; and these they offered on the altar David had erected in the threshingfloor of Araunah, by the order of God, where afterwards the temple was built:

[even] a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with
their burnt offerings;
and meat offerings also, both which always went along with them:

and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel;
whom they represented; these last were peace offerings, part of which the offerers had for themselves and friends to feast on, as these did, as follows.

19 e da’ a Salomone, mio figliuolo, un cuore integro, affinch’egli osservi i tuoi comandamenti, i tuoi precetti e le tue leggi, affinché eseguisca tutti questi miei piani, e costruisca il palazzo, per il quale ho fatto i preparativi".
20 Poi Davide disse a tutta la raunanza: "Or benedite l’Eterno, il vostro Dio". E tutta la raunanza benedì l’Eterno, l’Iddio de’ loro padri; e s’inchinarono, e si prostrarono dinanzi all’Eterno e dinanzi al re.
21 E il giorno seguente immolarono delle vittime in onore dell’Eterno, e gli offrirono degli olocausti: mille giovenchi, mille montoni, mille agnelli, con le relative libazioni, e altri sacrifizi in gran numero, per tutto Israele.
22 E mangiarono e bevvero, in quel giorno, nel cospetto dell’Eterno, con gran gioia; proclamarono re, per la seconda volta, Salomone, figliuolo di Davide, e lo unsero, consacrandolo all’Eterno come conduttore del popolo, e unsero Tsadok come sacerdote.
23 Salomone si assise dunque sul trono dell’Eterno come re, invece di Davide suo padre; prosperò, e tutto Israele gli ubbidì.
