1 Samuel 17:22 Meaning and Commentary

1 Samuel 17:22

And David left his carriage in the hand the keeper of the
carriage
That is, he left load of provisions he brought with him in the hand of the keeper of the bag and baggage of the army, their clothes, and such like things; not having an opportunity to deliver them to his brethren, who were just going to engage in battle:

and ran into the army;
which showed the valour and courage of David, who chose rather to expose himself in battle, than to abide with the keeper of the carriages:

and came and saluted his brethren;
asked them of their welfare, in his father's name and his own.

1 Samuel 17:22 In-Context

24 Y todos los varones de Israel que ve铆an aquel hombre, hu铆an de su presencia, y ten铆an gran temor.
