2 Kings 4:30

And the mother of the child said
Having no faith in what the servant was to do, or could do:

as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee;
signifying she would not go with his servant, but insisted upon it that he himself went with her, or she would not depart:

and he arose, and followed her;
influenced by her importunity, and a sense of favours he had received from her, and more especially by the Spirit of God.

28 Y ella dijo: ¿Pedí yo hijo a mi señor? ¿No dije yo, que no me burlases?

29 Entonces dijo él a Giezi: Ciñe tus lomos, y toma mi bordón en tu mano, y ve; y si alguno te encontrare, no lo saludes; y si alguno te saludare, no le respondas; y pondrás mi bordón sobre el rostro del niño.

30 Entonces dijo la madre del niño: Vive el SEÑOR, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré.

31 El entonces se levantó, y la siguió. Y Giezi había ido delante de ellos, y había puesto el bordón sobre el rostro del niño, mas ni tenía voz ni sentido; y así se había vuelto para encontrar a Eliseo; y se lo declaró, diciendo: El niño no despierta.

32 Y venido Eliseo a la casa, he aquí el niño que estaba tendido muerto sobre su cama.
