Psalms 70:4

Let all those that seek thee
The Targum is,

``that seek doctrine (or instruction) from thee.''

rejoice and be glad in thee;
the Targum paraphrases it,

``rejoice and be glad in thy word.''

and let such as love thy salvation say continually, let God be
magnified;
the Targum is,

``let the glory of the Lord be increased;''

and in ( Psalms 40:16 ) , instead of "God", it is "the Lord", or "Jehovah": (See Gill on Psalms 40:16).

Psalm 70:4 In-Context

2 Haast U, o God, om mij te verlossen, o HEERE, tot mijn hulp.
3 Laat hen beschaamd en schaamrood worden, die mijn ziel zoeken; laat hen achterwaarts gedreven en te schande worden, die lust hebben aan mijn kwaad.
4 Laat hen terugkeren tot loon hunner beschaming, die daar zeggen: Ha, ha!
5 Laat in U vrolijk en verblijd zijn allen, die U zoeken; laat de liefhebbers Uws heils geduriglijk zeggen: God zij groot gemaakt! [ (Psalms 70:6) Doch ik ben ellendig en nooddruftig; o God, haast U tot mij; Gij zijt mijn Hulp en mijn Bevrijder; HEERE, vertoef niet! ]
