Bible Verses about Enemies
It is natural for us to encounter others we may not get along with, and of those we may consider them to be "enemies." It is important for us however, to remember that they are just humans too. Remember that our number one enemy is Satan. He takes form in many ways, and is everywhere in the world today- we cannot let him lead us to commit such sins. We must forgive and bless each other, and turn to God to strengthen our will against Satan.Turn to these Bible verses on enemies to help understand the command of God to love our enemies.

17 Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice,
20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor  and hate your enemy.’
9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
Psalm 37:5

2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.
18 For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way.
