Bible Verses about Pornography

What does the Bible say about Pornography?

While pornography is a relatively new thing, the Bible does speak upon related themes of adultery, sexual immorality, and temptation.  Scripture provides profound advice and insight into preserving the sacred essence of a relationship, primarily the importance of honoring your marriage or partner.  Additionally, scripture warns of the moral decay that results from pursuing desires of the flesh above honorable ends.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

James 1:14-15 - But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
