1 John 3:11-15

Today we'll be in First John chapter three, as we talk more about our relationship with one another.  God is love the Bible tells us.  And as His people we’re to be loving as well.  Does that mark your life on the daily?  Or when people look at you do they see anger and hatred more often than not?  

Would you best be described as a loving person, or full of hate?  Pastor Jeff Johnson says how you answer that says a lot about your spiritual condition.  Today on Sound Doctrine we’ll learn why the Christian is to follow God’s lead by loving other people.  We’ll contrast that with murder and hatred, something that was clearly apparent in the life of Cain.

After his warnings about the Anti-christ and deception, the apostle John guides us back to the main theme of his epistle, and that is Love. But what is Love? Society has its own definition, but we find the biblical term used in 1 Corinthians 13, and see that God’s Love is sacrificial and giving.

Jesus first revealed the importance of being born-again, to Nicodemus. This is an experience that we cannot misinterpret. On todays program, Pastor Jeff shares that “to be born of God, means to receive His Divine nature.
