I knowtheewho thou art , the Holy One of God.25AndJesusrebukedhim,saying , Hold thy peace , andcome out ofhim.26And when the uncleanspirit had tornhim,andcried with a loudvoice, he came out ofhim.27And they wereallamazed , insomuch that they questionedamongthemselves,saying , What thingisthis?whatnewdoctrine is this?forwithauthoritycommandeth he even the uncleanspirits,and they do obeyhim.28Andimmediatelyhisfame spread abroadthroughoutall the region round aboutGalilee.29Andforthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they enteredinto the house of SimonandAndrew,withJamesandJohn.30ButSimon's wife's motherlay sick of a fever , andanon they tellhimofher.31And he came and tookher by the hand, and liftedherup ; andimmediately the feverlefther,and she ministered unto them.32Andateven,when the sun did set , they broughtuntohimall that werediseased,and them that were possessed with devils .
Andall the citywas gathered togetherat the door.34And he healedmany that weresick of diversdiseases,and cast outmanydevils;andsufferednot the devils to speak ,cbecause they knewhim.35And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out , anddepartedinto a solitaryplace, and thereprayed .
AndSimonand they that were withhim followed afterhim.37And when they had foundhim, they said unto him , All men seek for thee.38And he said unto them,Let us gointo the nexttowns,that I may preach there also:forthereforecame I forth .39And he preachedintheirsynagoguesthroughoutallGalilee,and cast outdevils.40And there came a lepertohim,beseechinghim,and kneeling down to him,andsaying unto him , If thou wilt , thou canstmakemeclean .
AndJesus, moved with compassion , put forth his hand, and touchedhim,andsaith unto him,I will ; be thou clean .42And as soon as he had spoken , immediately the leprosydepartedfromhim,and he was cleansed .
And he straitly chargedhim, and forthwithsenthimaway ;
Andsaith unto him,See thou saynothing to any man:but go thy way , shewthyself to the priest,andofferforthycleansing those things which Mosescommanded , for a testimony unto them.45But he went out , and began to publish it much,and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch thatJesuscould no moreopenlyenterinto the city,butwaswithoutindesertplaces:and they cametohim from every quarter.
