Our holiday how-to is found in the pages of Scripture, which connect Jesus to the entirety of the Bible, not just the New Testament. We can learn from the reality of His birth on earth, how to walk out God’s will for our lives.

God promises a plan for us which is more than we can ask for or imagine. To walk the road home to Him requires us to push beyond our limits. Freedom from the fear which convinces us we can’t do hard things …impossible things, is possible.

Wise advice, which aligns with the truth in Scripture, is gold in our everyday lives. It teaches us to be thankful to God, who provides such rich nourishment for our souls, knowing exactly what we need for each day.

What does God mean when He promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”? From Moses’ encouragement to Israel to the reminder in Hebrews 13, this promise reveals God’s enduring presence and faithfulness. Explore its biblical context and discover how it can produce courage, contentment, disciplined thinking, and trust when God feels far away.

Jesus is calling us. Listen and look for Him in the present and the future. Look back briefly enough to remember how important it is to keep running forward.

Though we are not all called to be great leaders like Charles Stanley on a public platform, we are called to minister as such in our daily lives, to the people we place in them.

As Charles Stanley rests peacefully in the arms of his Savior, we remember some of the iconic and inspired words of one of the greatest Christian leaders of our time.

We may be able to strengthen ourselves in one area at a time, possibly even two or three- but the strength we need to accomplish the will of God in our lives and thwart the attack of the enemy is found in Christ alone.

Gratefulness allows us to fight the temptation to want more than God says we need to live a full life. The perspective we gain in following Christ Jesus allows us to be at peace with our current circumstances, no matter how they stack up to what’s going on in the world around us.

Every day the sun rises, we are reminded of who God is: Creator, Father, and Sovereign. The sunrise signals the promise of the resurrection of His Son ushered forth: death defeated, and darkness extinguished.

This Lenten Season, let us cling to Christ, realizing we are free to enjoy the fullness of life through His sacrifice.

God’s desire for our lives is not to fall victim to the discouragement we experience throughout our lives, but to choose to focus on the good things He is filling our lives with simultaneously. He is good.

Whether we are married or single, have children, adopt children, or are still children ourselves, we are all called, in every stage of our lives, to impact the Kingdom of God for the glory of God. It takes the constant development of trust, fearlessness and reliance in our everyday lives.

Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians reminds us to sit with God and wait patiently and confidently on Him for revelation. He is faithful. He will answer. Wisdom will surface from the divinely inspired words from Scripture. Courageously, we must pursue Him there.
