Get ready for what will be shockingly powerful as we hear how God spoke to us about a very special moment in history. This moment didn’t just alter the course of history, it changed the world forever. We’re breaking away from our study of Mark for a couple of weeks here on Light on the Hill so we can focus on the prophecies that changed the world forever. And we’ll start off with Luke chapter nineteen, where Jesus gets on a little donkey and rides into Jerusalem.

Peace is rooted in the person of Jesus Christ. He’s called in Isaiah chapter 9, verse 6, “…the Prince of Peace.” Do you know the things which make for peace in your heart? In this message, Pastor Jeff Schreve shares the things we desperately need to do in order to let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds.

Today we’ll again open the bible to Luke’s gospel and notice the message of Palm Sunday really centers around Bible Prophecy. The ride Jesus took into Jerusalem, about a week before His death, was foretold in scripture hundreds of years before it happened! But the religious leaders didn’t make the connection! Why? They weren’t students of Bible prophecy. See how this relates to our lives.

We’re going to take a brief break from our study of the Minor Prophets, in order to bring you a special week-long series, leading up for Easter! Today, Pastor James highlights the latter half of Luke chapter nineteen. This of course is the section of scripture detailing our Lord’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, in fulfillment of prophecy.

Never was there a time in Jesus’ life when things got out of God’s control. On the contrary, Jesus moved with deliberate steps toward the cross. Skip considers God’s perfect timing as he shares the message “The Day God Rode a Donkey.”

Jesus: The Son of God, made his trimphal entry on a donkey. The Romans saw this as comical, but as we've discovered in our previous lesson, this demonstrates the humility of God. Today, we will end part 3 of our study on the trimphal entry of Christ.
