1 Kings 21:12

They proclaimed a fast
Or called a court, (See Gill on 1 Kings 21:9).

and set Naboth on high among the people;
placed him at the bar as a criminal, (See Gill on 1 Kings 21:9), though Josephus ^F3 thinks he was set on an high place in the court, because he was of an illustrious birth.

10 又 叫 兩 個 匪 徒 坐 在 拿 伯 對 面 ， 作 見 證 告 他 說 ： 你 謗 瀆 　 神 和 王 了 ； 隨 後 就 把 他 拉 出 去 用 石 頭 打 死 。

11 那 些 與 拿 伯 同 城 居 住 的 長 老 貴 冑 得 了 耶 洗 別 的 信 ， 就 照 信 而 行 ，

12 宣 告 禁 食 ， 叫 拿 伯 坐 在 民 間 的 高 位 上 。

13 有 兩 個 匪 徒 來 ， 坐 在 拿 伯 的 對 面 ， 當 著 眾 民 作 見 證 告 他 說 ： 拿 伯 謗 瀆 　 神 和 王 了 ！ 眾 人 就 把 他 拉 到 城 外 ， 用 石 頭 打 死 。

14 於 是 打 發 人 去 見 耶 洗 別 ， 說 ： 拿 伯 被 石 頭 打 死 了 。
