Numbers 6:1

And the Lord spake unto Moses
At the same time, or immediately after the law concerning the woman suspected of adultery was given; with which the following law concerning Nazarites may be thought to have a close connection, as some Jewish writers observe, women being concerned in it as well as men; and as wine leads to adultery, as Jarchi observes, abstinence from it, which the Nazarite's vow obliged to, and forbearance of trimming and dressing the hair, and a being more strictly and closely devoted to the service of God, were very likely means of preserving from unchastity, and any suspicion of it:

2 Nǐ xiǎoyù Yǐsèliè rén shuō , wúlùn nánnǚ xǔ le tèbié de yuàn , jiù shì ná xì ĕr rén de yuàn ( ná xì ĕr jiù shì guī zhǔ de yìsi xià tóng ) , yào lí sú guī Yēhéhuá .
3 Tā jiù yào yuǎn lí qīng jiǔ nóng jiǔ , yĕ bùkĕ hē shénme qīng jiǔ nóng jiǔ zuò de cù . bùkĕ hē shénme pútàozhī , yĕ bùkĕ chī xiān pútào hé gān pútào .
4 Zaì yīqiè lí sú de rìzi , fán pútàoshù shàng jié de , zì hé zhì pí suǒ zuò de wù , dōu bùkĕ chī .
5 Zaì tā yīqiè xǔyuàn lí sú de rìzi , bùkĕ yòng tì tóu dāo tì tóu , yào yóu fā liǔ cháng cháng le . tā yào shèngjié , zhídào lí sú guī Yēhéhuá de rìzi mǎn le .
