10 Yǐsèliè rén qǐ xíng , ān yíng zaì a bǎi .
11 Yòu cóng a bǎi qǐ xíng , ān yíng zaì yǐ yé yà bā lín , yǔ Móyē xiāngduì de kuàngyĕ , xiàng rì chū zhī dì .
12 Cóng nàli qǐ xíng , ān yíng zaì sǎ liè yù .
13 Cóng nàli qǐ xíng , ān yíng zaì Yànèn hé nàbiān . zhè Yànèn hé shì zaì kuàngyĕ , cóng yà Mólì de jìngjiè liú chūlai de . yuánlái Yànèn hé shì Móyē de biānjiè , zaì Móyē hé Yàmólìrén dā jiè de dìfang .
14 Suǒyǐ Yēhéhuá de zhàn jì shàng shuō , sū fǎ de wa ha bǎi yǔ Yànèn hé de yù ,
15 Bìng xiàng yà Ěr chéng zhòng yù de xià pō , shì kàojìn Móyē de jìngjiè .
16 Yǐsèliè rén cóng nàli qǐ xíng , dào le Bǐĕr ( Bǐĕr jiù shì jǐng de yìsi ) . cóng qián Yēhéhuá fēnfu Móxī shuō , zhāo jù bǎixìng , wǒ hǎo gĕi tāmen shuǐ hē , shuō de jiù shì zhè jǐng .
17 Dāngshí , Yǐsèliè rén chàng gē shuō , jǐng a , yǒng shàng shuǐ lái . nǐmen yào xiàng zhè jǐng gē chàng .
18 Zhè jǐng shì shǒulǐng hé mín zhōng de zūnguì rén yòng guī yòng zhàng suǒ wā suǒ jué de . Yǐsèliè rén cóng kuàngyĕ wǎng mǎ tā ná qù ,
19 Cóng mǎ tā ná dào Náha liè , cóng Náha liè dào bā mò ,
20 Cóng bā mò dào Móyē dì de yù , yòu dào nà xià wàng kuàngyĕ zhī Písījiā de shāndǐng .

Mínshùjì 21:10-20 Meaning and Commentary

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 21

This chapter gives an account of the defeat of King Arad, the Canaanite, Nu 21:1-3 of the murmurings of the children of Israel, because of difficulties in travelling round, the land of Edom, for which they were punished with fiery serpents, Nu 21:4-6 and how that upon their repentance a brazen serpent was ordered to be made, and to be erected on a pole, that whoever looked to it might live, Nu 21:7-9 and of the several journeys and stations of the children of Israel, until they came to the land of the Amorites, Nu 21:10-20, when they sent a message to Sihon their king, to desire him to grant them a passage through his country; but he refusing, they fought with him, smote him, and possessed his land, concerning which many proverbial sayings were used, Nu 21:21-32 and the chapter is concluded with the defeat of Og, king of Bashan, Nu 21:33-35.
