8 Yīnwei púrén zhù zaì Yàlán de jī shù , céng xǔyuàn shuō , Yēhéhuá ruò shǐ wǒ zaì huí Yēlùsǎlĕng , wǒ bì shìfèng tā .

2 Samuel 15:8

For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria,
&c.] When at his grandfather's court there:

saying, if the Lord will bring me again indeed to Jerusalem;
which he might be sincerely desirous of:

then I will serve the Lord;
but it is a question whether he ever made a vow to this purpose, or concerned himself about serving the Lord; but it rather may be, this was a lie of his, now framed in order to get leave of the king to go to Hebron.

6 Yǐsèliè rén zhōng , fán qù jiàn wáng qiú pànduàn de , Yēshālóng dōu shì rúcǐ dāi tāmen . zhèyàng , Yēshālóng ànzhōng dé le Yǐsèliè rén de xīn .

7 Mǎn le sì shí nián ( yǒu zuò sì nián de ) , Yēshālóng duì wáng shuō , qiú nǐ zhún wǒ wǎng Xībǎilún qù , huán wǒ xiàng Yēhéhuá suǒ xǔ de yuàn .

8 Yīnwei púrén zhù zaì Yàlán de jī shù , céng xǔyuàn shuō , Yēhéhuá ruò shǐ wǒ zaì huí Yēlùsǎlĕng , wǒ bì shìfèng tā .

9 Wáng shuō , nǐ píng píngān ān dì qù ba . yē shà lóng jiù qǐshēn , wǎng Xībǎilún qù le .

10 Yē Shālóng dǎfa tànzǐ zǒu biàn Yǐsèliè gè zhīpaì , shuō , nǐmen yī tīngjian jiǎo shēng jiù shuō , Yēshālóng zaì Xībǎilún zuò wáng le .
