23 Yúshì , Yóudà rén àn zhe Mòdǐgǎi suǒ xiĕ yǔ tāmende xìn , yīng chéng zhào chū cì suǒ shǒu de shǒu wèi yǒng lì .

Esther 9:23

And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as
Mordecai had written unto them.
] They engaged to keep these two days as festivals annually, as they had at this time done; not in a religious but in a civil way, not as parts of religious worship, and as additions to and innovations of the law, but by way of commemoration of a civil benefit which they had received; and yet we find in later times that this was scrupled by some as an innovation; for we are told ^F18 that there were eighty five elders, and more than thirty of them prophets, who were distressed about this matter, fearing it was an innovation.

21 Zhǔfu tāmen mĕi nián shǒu Yàdá yuè shí sì , shí wǔ liǎng rì .

22 Yǐ zhè yuè de liǎng rì wèi Yóudà rén tuōlí chóudí dé píngān , zhuǎn yōu wèi xǐ , zhuǎn bēi wèi lè de jí rì . zaì zhè liǎng rì shè yán huānlè , bǐcǐ kuìsòng lǐwù , zhōujì qióngrén .

23 Yúshì , Yóudà rén àn zhe Mòdǐgǎi suǒ xiĕ yǔ tāmende xìn , yīng chéng zhào chū cì suǒ shǒu de shǒu wèi yǒng lì .

24 Shì yīn Yóudà rén de chóudí , Yàjiǎ zú Hāmǐdàtāde érzi Hāmàn , shè móu shāhaì Yóudà rén , chè pǔ ĕr , shì chèqiā , wéi yào shā jǐn mièjué tāmen .

25 Zhè shì bàogào yú wáng , wáng biàn jiàng zhǐ shǐ Hāmàn móu haì Yóudà rén de è shì , guī dào tā zìjǐ de tóu shang , bìng fēnfu bǎ tā hé tāde zhòng zǐ dōu guà zaì mù jià shang .
