1 John 3:11-15

Listen to 1 John 3:11-15
11 For this is the message[a] that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore* slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no* murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Love, Don't Hate Part 1
Love, Don't Hate Part 1
Jeff Johnson

Would you best be described as a loving person, or full of hate?  Pastor Jeff Johnson says how you answer that says a lot about your spiritual condition.  Today on Sound Doctrine we’ll learn why the Christian is to follow God’s lead by loving other people.  We’ll contrast that with murder and hatred, something that was clearly apparent in the life of Cain.  So turn with us to First John chapter three as we’re exhorted to love and not hate!
