Hiob 41:11

Listen to Hiob 41:11
11 41:3 Wer hat mir etwas zuvor getan, daß ich's ihm vergelte? Es ist mein, was unter allen Himmeln ist.

Hiob 41:11 Meaning and Commentary

Job 41:11

&c.] First given me something that was not my own, and so laid me under an obligation to him to make a return. The apostle seems to have respect to this passage, ( Romans 11:35 ) ;

[whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine;
the fowls of the air, the cattle on a thousand hills, the fulness of the earth; gold, silver: precious stones All things are made by him, are his property and at his dispose; and therefore no man on earth can give him what he has not a prior right unto; see ( Psalms 24:1 ) ( 50:10-12 ) .
