Now there was the [person] named Barabbas bound with those who had made insurrection with [him], [and] that had committed murder in the insurrection.

A man named Barabbas was in prison. He was there with some other people who had fought against the country's rulers. They had committed murder while they were fighting against the rulers.

And there was one that was said Barabbas, that was bound with men of dissension, that had done manslaughter in sedition [that had done manslaying in dissension].
