6 Os habitantes de Israel e de Judá que viviam nas cidades de Judá também trouxeram o dízimo de todos os seus rebanhos e das coisas sagradas dedicadas ao SENHOR, o seu Deus, ajuntando-os em muitas pilhas.

2 Chronicles 31:6

And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt
in the cities of Judah
As for the supplement "concerning", I see no need of it; the sense is, that when the king's edict was known by the inhabitants of the cities in the country, as well as at Jerusalem:

they also brought in the tithes of oxen, and sheep;
according to the law in ( Leviticus 27:32 )

and the tithe of holy things, which were consecrated unto the Lord
their God;
which Jarchi understands of the second tithe the Levites were to give to the priests; but Kimchi of things consecrated to sacred uses, and no longer for their own, and which were even free from tithing:

and laid them by heaps:
heaps upon heaps, such large quantities were brought in.

4 Ele ordenou ao povo de Jerusalém que desse aos sacerdotes e aos levitas a porção que lhes era devida a fim de que pudessem dedicar-se à Lei do SENHOR.

5 Assim que se divulgou essa ordem, os israelitas deram com generosidade o melhor do trigo, do vinho, do óleo, do mel e de tudo o que os campos produziam. Trouxeram o dízimo de tudo. Era uma grande quantidade.

7 Começaram a fazer isso no terceiro mês e terminaram no sétimo.

8 Quando Ezequias e os seus oficiais chegaram e viram as pilhas de ofertas, louvaram o SENHOR e abençoaram Israel, o seu povo.
