5 E mentre appunto Ghehazi raccontava al re come Eliseo avea risuscitato il morto, ecco che la donna, di cui era stato risuscitato il figliuolo, venne a ricorrere al re per riavere la sua casa e le sue terre. E Ghehazi disse: "O re, mio signore, questa è quella donna, e questo è il suo figliuolo, che Eliseo ha risuscitato".

2 Kings 8:5

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had
restored a dead body to life
Which was the Shunammite's son:

that, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life cried to the
king for her house, and for her land;
came and presented her petition to the king at that very instant:

and Gehazi said, my lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her
son, whom Elisha restored to life;
the very person I am speaking of.

3 Finiti i sette anni, quella donna tornò dal paese de’ Filistei, e andò a ricorrere al re per riavere la sua casa e le sue terre.

4 Or il re discorreva con Ghehazi, servo dell’uomo di Dio, e gli diceva: "Ti prego raccontami tutte le cose grandi che ha fatte Eliseo".

5 E mentre appunto Ghehazi raccontava al re come Eliseo avea risuscitato il morto, ecco che la donna, di cui era stato risuscitato il figliuolo, venne a ricorrere al re per riavere la sua casa e le sue terre. E Ghehazi disse: "O re, mio signore, questa è quella donna, e questo è il suo figliuolo, che Eliseo ha risuscitato".

6 Il re interrogò la donna, che gli raccontò tutto; e il re le dette un eunuco, al quale disse: "Falle restituire tutto quello ch’è suo, e tutte le rendite delle terre, dal giorno in cui ella lasciò il paese, fino ad ora".

7 Or Eliseo si recò a Damasco; Ben-Hadad, re di Siria, era ammalato, e gli fu riferito che l’uomo di Dio era giunto colà.
