Jeremiah 1:8

Be not afraid of their faces
Their stern looks, their frowning brows, and angry countenances, which would threaten him with destruction and death: for I am with thee, to deliver thee, saith the Lord;
out of their hands, when in the most imminent danger. The Targum paraphrases the words thus,

``my Word shall be thine help to deliver thee:''
which is true of Christ, the essential Word of God.

6 E io risposi: "Ahimè, Signore, Eterno, io non so parlare, poiché non sono che un fanciullo".
7 Ma l’Eterno mi disse: "Non dire: Sono un fanciullo, poiché tu andrai da tutti quelli ai quali ti manderò, e dirai tutto quello che io ti comanderò.
8 Non li temere, perché io son teco per liberarti, dice l’Eterno".
9 Poi l’Eterno stese la mano e mi toccò la bocca; e l’Eterno disse: "Ecco, io ho messo le mie parole nella tua bocca.
10 Vedi, io ti costituisco oggi sulle nazioni e sopra i regni, per svellere, per demolire, per abbattere, per distruggere, per edificare e per piantare".
