2 Samuel 14:3

And come to the king
At his palace, in the above condition and circumstances:

and speak on this manner unto him;
something to the following purpose he dictated to her:

so Joab put the words in her mouth;
the substance of what she should say; the fable she was to deliver as her own case might be framed by Joab, and which she delivered word for word exactly as he put it, and the application of it; but as he knew not what questions the king would ask her, so he could not dictate to her what to reply, unless he supposed this and the other, and so formed answers; but this he left to her prudence, and for the sake of which he chose a wise woman to manage this affair.

1 Y CONOCIENDO Joab hijo de Sarvia, que el coraz贸n del rey estaba por Absalom,
2 Envi贸 Joab 谩 Tecoa, y tom贸 de all谩 una mujer astuta, y d铆jole: Yo te ruego que te enlutes, y te vistas de ropas de luto, y no te unjas con 贸leo, antes s茅 como mujer que ha mucho tiempo que trae luto por alg煤n muerto;
3 Y entrando al rey, habla con 茅l de esta manera. Y puso Joab las palabras en su boca.
4 Entr贸 pues aquella mujer de Tecoa al rey, y postr谩ndose en tierra sobre su rostro hizo reverencia, y dijo: Oh rey, salva.
5 Y el rey dijo: 驴Qu茅 tienes? Y ella respondi贸: Yo 谩 la verdad soy una mujer viuda y mi marido es muerto.
