During Holy Week and beyond, we can look to scriptures about the burial and tomb of Christ for inspiration to rejoice in His conquering of death. We have gathered these many scripture quotes to read particularly on Good Friday, the day of remembering His crucifixion. Because Christ was fully man and fully God, he truly experienced death as occurs from our human nature, yet He then arose from the grave being the divine Son of God! Both were necessary to redeem mankind from the curse of sin and death.
