And Jesus said
As wondering at, and as being displeased with, and as reproving them for their dulness and ignorance:

are ye also yet without understanding?
you, my disciples, as well as the Scribes and Pharisees; you, who have been with me so long, who have heard so many discourses from me, who for so long a time have been instructed by me, both in private, and in public; and yet do not understand what is so plain and easy, that has nothing of difficulty in it, but what might easily be accounted for.

14 Let them be. They are blind guides. When a blind man guides another blind man, both will fall in a pit."
15 Kefa said to him, "Explain the parable to us."
16 So he said, "Don't you under stand even now?
17 Don't you see that anything that enters the mouth goes into the stomach and passes out into the latrine?
18 But what comes out of your mouth is actually coming from your heart, and that is what makes a person unclean.
