Yǐsījiēshū 28

1 Yēhéhuá de huà yòu líndào wǒ shuō ,

2 Rénzǐ a , nǐ duì Tuīluó jūnwáng shuō , zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , yīn nǐ xīnli gāo ào , shuō , wǒ shì shén . wǒ zaì hǎi zhōng zuò shén zhī wèi . nǐ suīrán jū xīn zì bǐ shén , yĕ bú guō shì rén , bìng bú shì shén .

3 Kàn nǎ , nǐ bǐ Dànyǐlǐ gèng yǒu zhìhuì , shénme lín shì dōu bùnéng xiàng nǐ yǐncáng .

4 Nǐ kào zìjǐ de zhìhuì cōngming dé le jīn yín cáibǎo , shōu rù kù zhōng .

5 Nǐ kào zìjǐ de dà zhìhuì hé màoyì zēngtiān zīcái , yòu yīn zīcái xīnli gāo ào .

6 Suǒyǐ zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , yīn nǐ jū xīn zì bǐ shén ,

7 Wǒ bì shǐ waìbāngrén , jiù shì liè guó zhōng de qiángbào rén líndào nǐ zhèlǐ . tāmen bì bá dāo kǎn huaì nǐ yòng zhìhuì dé lái de mĕi wù , xièdú nǐde róngguāng .

8 Tāmen bì shǐ nǐ xià kēng . nǐ bì sǐ zaì hǎi zhōng , yǔ beì shā de rén yíyàng .

9 Zaì shā nǐde rén miànqián nǐ hái néng shuō wǒ shì shén ma . qíshí nǐ zaì shāhaì nǐde rén shǒu zhōng , bú guō shì rén , bìng bú shì shén .

10 Nǐ bì sǐ zaì waìbāngrén shǒu zhōng , yǔ wèi shòu gēlǐ ( huò zuò bù jié xià tóng ) de rén yíyàng , yīnwei zhè shì zhǔ Yēhéhuá shuō de .

11 Yēhéhuá de huà líndào wǒ shuō ,

12 Rénzǐ a , nǐ wèi Tuīluó wáng zuò qǐ āi gē , shuō zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐ wú suǒ bú beì , zhìhuì chōngzú , quán rán mĕilì .

13 Nǐ céng zaì Yīdiàn shén de yuán zhōng , peìdaì gèyàng bǎoshí , jiù shì hóngbǎoshí , hóng bì xǐ , jīn gāng shí , shuǐ cāng yù , hóngmǎnǎo , bìyù , lánbǎoshí , lǜbǎoshí , hóng yù , hé huángjīn . yòu yǒu jīng mĕi de gǔ dí zaì nǐ nàli , dōu shì zaì nǐ shòu zào zhī rì yùbeì qí quán de .

14 Nǐ shì nà shòu gāo zhēyǎn yuē jǔ de Jīlùbǎi . wǒ jiāng nǐ ānzhì zaì shén de shèng shān shang . nǐ zaì fāguāng rú huǒ de bǎoshí zhōngjiān wǎng lái .

15 Nǐ cóng shòu zào zhī rì suǒ xíng de dōu wánquán , hòulái zaì nǐ zhōngjiān yòu chá chū bú yì .

16 Yīn nǐ màoyì hĕn duō , jiù beì qiángbào de shì chōngmǎn , yǐzhì fàn zuì , suǒyǐ wǒ yīn nǐ xièdú shèng dì , jiù cóng shén de shān qū zhú nǐ . zhēyǎn yuē jǔ de Jīlùbǎi a , wǒ yǐ jiāng nǐ cóng fāguāng rú huǒ de bǎoshí zhōng chúmiĕ .

17 Nǐ yīn mĕilì xīn zhōng gāo ào , yòu yīn róngguāng baìhuaì zhìhuì , wǒ yǐ jiāng nǐ shuāi dǎo zaì dì , shǐ nǐ dǎo zaì jūnwáng miànqián , hǎo jiào tāmen mù dǔ yǎn jiàn .

18 Nǐ yīn zuìniè zhòngduō , màoyì bú gōng , jiù xièdú nǐ nàli de shèng suǒ . gùcǐ , wǒ shǐ huǒ cóng nǐ zhōngjiān fāchū , shāo miè nǐ , shǐ nǐ zaì suǒ yǒu guānkàn de rén yǎnqián biàn wèi dì shang de lú huī .

19 Gè guó mín zhōng , fán rènshi nǐde , dōu bì wèi nǐ jīngqí . nǐ líng rén jīngkǒng , bú zaì cún liú yú shì , zhídào yǒngyuǎn .

20 Yēhéhuá de huà líndào wǒ shuō ,

21 Rénzǐ a , nǐ yào xiàng Xīdùn yùyán gōngjī tā ,

22 Shuō zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , Xīdùn nǎ , wǒ yǔ nǐ wéi dí , wǒ bì zaì nǐ zhōngjiān dé róngyào . wǒ zaì nǐ zhōngjiān shīxíng shĕnpàn , xiǎn wèi shèng de shíhou , rén jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

23 Wǒ bì shǐ wēnyì jìnrù Xīdùn , shǐ xuè liú zaì tā jiē shang . beì shā de bì zaì qízhōng pú dǎo , sìwéi yǒu dāo jiàn líndào tā , rén jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

24 Sìwéi hèn è Yǐsèliè jiā de rén , bì bú zaì xiàng tāmen zuò cī rén de jīngjí , shāng rén de jíli , rén jiù zhīdào wǒ shì zhǔ Yēhéhuá .

25 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , wǒ jiāng fēnsàn zaì wàn mín zhōng de Yǐsèliè jiā zhāo jù huí lái , xiàng tāmen zaì liè bāng rén yǎnqián xiǎn wèi shèng de shíhou , tāmen jiù zaì wǒ cìgĕi wǒ púrén Yǎgè zhī dì , réngrán jūzhù .

26 Tāmen yào zaì zhè dì shang ānrán jūzhù . wǒ xiàng sìwéi hèn è tāmende zhòngrén shīxíng shĕnpàn yǐhòu , tāmen yào gaìzào fángwū , zāizhòng pútaóyuán , ānrán jūzhù , jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá tāmende shén .

Yǐsījiēshū 28 Commentary

Chapter 28

The sentence against the prince or king of Tyre. (1-19) The fall of Zidon. (20-23) The restoration of Israel. (24-26)

Verses 1-19 Ethbaal, or Ithobal, was the prince or king of Tyre; and being lifted up with excessive pride, he claimed Divine honours. Pride is peculiarly the sin of our fallen nature. Nor can any wisdom, except that which the Lord gives, lead to happiness in this world or in that which is to come. The haughty prince of Tyre thought he was able to protect his people by his own power, and considered himself as equal to the inhabitants of heaven. If it were possible to dwell in the garden of Eden, or even to enter heaven, no solid happiness could be enjoyed without a humble, holy, and spiritual mind. Especially all spiritual pride is of the devil. Those who indulge therein must expect to perish.

20-26. The Zidonians were borderers upon the land of Israel, and they might have learned to glorify the Lord; but, instead of that, they seduced Israel to the worship of their idols. War and pestilence are God's messengers; but he will be glorified in the restoring his people to their former safety and prosperity. God will cure them of their sins, and ease them of their troubles. This promise will at length fully come to pass in the heavenly Canaan: when all the saints shall be gathered together, every thing that offends shall be removed, all griefs and fears for ever banished. Happy, then, is the church of God, and every living member of it, though poor, afflicted, and despised; for the Lord will display his truth, power, and mercy, in the salvation and happiness of his redeemed people.

Chapter Summary

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 28

This chapter contains a prophecy of the destruction of the prince of Tyre; a lamentation for the king of Tyre; a denunciation of judgments on Zidon, and a promise of peace and safety to Israel. The order given the prophet to prophesy of the ruin of the prince of Tyre, Eze 28:1,2, the cause of his ruin, his pride on account of his wisdom and riches, which rose to such a pitch, as to make himself God, Eze 28:2-6, the manner in which his destruction shall be accomplished, Eze 28:7-10, the lamentation for the king of Tyre begins Eze 28:11,12, setting forth his former grandeur and dignity, Eze 28:13-15, his fall, and the cause of it, injustice and violence in merchandise, pride because of beauty and wisdom, and profanation of sanctuaries, Eze 28:16-19, next follow the judgments on Zidon, Eze 28:20-23, and the chapter is concluded with a promise of the restoration of the Jews to their own land, and of great tranquillity and safety in it, Eze 28:24-26.
