1 Yēhéhuá de huà yòu líndào wǒ shuō ,

2 Rénzǐ a , yào wèi Tuīluó zuò qǐ āi gē ,

3 Shuō , nǐ jūzhù hǎikǒu , shì zhòng mín de shāng bù . nǐde jiāo yì tōng dào xǔduō de hǎidǎo . zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , Tuīluó a , nǐ céng shuō , wǒ shì quán rán mĕilì de .

4 Nǐde jìngjiè zaì hǎi zhōng , zào nǐde shǐ nǐ quán rán mĕilì .

5 Tāmen yòng shì ní Ěr de sōng shù zuò nǐde yīqiè bǎn , yòng Lìbānèn de xiāng bái shù zuò wéi gān ,

6 Yòng Bāshān de xiàngshù zuò nǐde jiǎng , yòng xiàng yá xiāngqiàn Jītí hǎidǎo de huáng yáng mù wèi zuò bǎn ( huò zuò cāng bǎn ) .

7 Nǐde péng fān shì yòng Āijí xiùhuā xìmábù zuò de , kĕyǐ zuò nǐde dà qí . nǐde liáng péng shì yòng Yǐlìshā dǎo de lán sè , zǐse bù zuò de .

8 Xīdùn hé yà fā de jūmín zuò nǐ dàng jiǎng de . Tuīluó a , nǐ zhōngjiān de zhìhuì rén zuò zhǎngduò de .

9 Jiā bā lēi de lǎo zhĕ hé cōngming rén dōu zaì nǐ zhōngjiān zuò bǔ fùng de . yīqiè fán hǎi de chuán zhǐ hé shuǐ shǒu dōu zaì nǐ zhōngjiān jīng yíng jiāo yì de shì .

10 Bōsī rén , Lùdé rén , Fú rén zaì nǐ jūn yíng zhōng zuò zhànshì . tāmen zaì nǐ zhōngjiān xuán guà dùnpái hé tóu kuī , zhāng xiǎn nǐde zūnróng .

11 Yà fā rén hé nǐde jūnduì dōu zaì nǐ sìwéi de qiáng shang , nǐde wàng lóu yĕ yǒu yǒng shì . tāmen xuán guà dùnpái , chéngquán nǐde mĕilì .

12 Tāshī rén yīn nǐ duō yǒu gè leì de cáiwù , jiù zuò nǐde kè shāng , ná yín , tiĕ , xī , yán duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

13 Yǎwán rén , Tǔbā rén , Mǐshè rén dōu yǔ nǐ jiāo yì . tāmen yòng rénkǒu hé tóng qì duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

14 Tuójiāmǎ zú yòng mǎ hé zhàn mǎ bìng luó zǐ duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

15 Dǐdàn rén yǔ nǐ jiāo yì , xǔduō hǎidǎo zuò nǐde mǎ tóu . tāmen ná xiàng yá , wū mù yǔ nǐ duìhuàn ( huò zuò jìn gòng ) .

16 Yàlán rén yīn nǐde gōngzuò hĕn duō , jiù zuò nǐde kè shāng . tāmen yòng lǜbǎoshí , zǐse bù xiù huò , xìmábù , shān hú , hóngbǎoshí duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

17 Yóudà hé Yǐsèliè dì de rén dōu yǔ nǐ jiāo yì . tāmen yòng mǐ nì de maìzi , bǐng , mì , yóu , rǔxiāng duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

18 Dàmǎsè rén yīn nǐde gōngzuò hĕn duō , yòu yīn nǐ duō yǒu gè leì de cáiwù , jiù ná hēi bĕn jiǔ hé bái yáng maó yǔ nǐ jiāo yì .

19 Wēi dàn rén hé Yǎwán rén ná fǎng chéng de xiàn , liàng tiĕ , guìpí , chāngpú duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

20 Dǐdàn rén yòng gāo guì de tǎn zǐ , ān , tì yǔ nǐ jiāo yì .

21 A lā bǎi rén hé jī dá de yīqiè shǒulǐng dōu zuò nǐde kè shāng , yòng yánggāo , gōng miányáng , gōng shānyáng yǔ nǐ jiāo yì .

22 Shìbā hé Lāmǎ de shāng rén yǔ nǐ jiāo yì , tāmen yòng gè leì shang hǎo de xiāngliào , gè leì de bǎoshí , hé huángjīn duìhuàn nǐde huò wù .

25 Tāshī de chuán zhǐ jiē lián chéng bāng wèi nǐ yùn huò , nǐ biàn zaì hǎi zhōng fēngfù jíqí rónghuá .

26 Dàng jiǎng de yǐjing bǎ nǐ dàng dào dà shuǐ zhī chù , dōng fēng zaì hǎi zhōng jiāng nǐ dǎpò .

27 Nǐde zīcái , wùjiàn , huò wù , shuǐ shǒu , zhǎngduò de , bǔ fùng de , jīng yíng jiāo yì de , bìng nǐ zhōngjiān de zhànshì hé rénmín , zaì nǐ pò huaì de rìzi bì dōu chén zaì hǎi zhōng .

28 Nǐ zhǎngduò de hū haó zhī shēng yī fā , jiāo yĕ dōu bì zhèndòng .

29 Fán dàng jiǎng de hé shuǐ shǒu , bìng yīqiè fán hǎi zhǎngduò de , dōu bì xià chuán dēng àn .

30 Tāmen bì wèi nǐ fàng shēng tòngkū , bǎ chéntǔ sǎ zaì tóu shang , zaì huī zhōng dá gún .

31 Yòu wèi nǐ shǐ tóu shang guāng tū , yòng má bù shùyào , haó tòngkū , kǔ kǔ bēiāi .

32 Tāmen āi haó de shíhou , wèi nǐ zuò qǐ āi gē āikū , shuō , yǒu hé chéng rú Tuīluó . yǒu hé chéng rú tā zaì hǎi zhōng chéngwéi jìmò de ne .

33 Nǐ yóu hǎi shang yùn chū huò wù , jiù shǐ xǔduō guó mín chōngzú . nǐ yǐ xǔduō zīcái , huò wù shǐdì shang de jūnwáng fēngfù .

34 Nǐ zaì shēn shuǐ zhōng beì hǎidǎo dǎpò de shíhou , nǐde huò wù hé nǐ zhōngjiān de yīqiè rénmín , jiù dōu chén xià qù le .

Chapter 27

The merchandise of Tyre. (1-25) Its fall and ruin. (26-36)

Verses 1-25 Those who live at ease are to be lamented, if they are not prepared for trouble. Let none reckon themselves beautified, any further than they are sanctified. The account of the trade of Tyre intimates, that God's eye is upon men when employed in worldly business. Not only when at church, praying and hearing, but when in markets and fairs, buying and selling. In all our dealings we should keep a conscience void of offence. God, as the common Father of mankind, makes one country abound in one commodity, and another in another, serviceable to the necessity or to the comfort and ornament of human life. See what a blessing trade and merchandise are to mankind, when followed in the fear of God. Besides necessaries, an abundance of things are made valuable only by custom; yet God allows us to use them. But when riches increase, men are apt to set their hearts upon them, and forget the Lord, who gives power to get wealth.

Verses 26-36 The most mighty and magnificent kingdoms and states, sooner or later, come down. Those who make creatures their confidence, and rest their hopes upon them, will fall with them: happy are those who have the God of Jacob for their Help, and whose hope is in the Lord their God, who lives for ever. Those who engage in trade should learn to conduct their business according to God's word. Those who possess wealth should remember they are the Lord's stewards, and should use his goods in doing good to all. Let us seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 27

This chapter contains a lamentation on Tyre; setting forth her former grandeur, riches, and commerce; her ruin and destruction; and the concern of others on that account. The prophet is bid to take up his lamentation concerning it, Eze 27:1,2, observing her situation and magnificence, of which she boasted, Eze 27:3,4, describing the excellency of her shipping and naval stores, Eze 27:5-7, declaring who were her mariners, pilots, and caulkers, Eze 27:8,9, her military men, Eze 27:10,11 her several merchants, and the things they traded in with her in her fairs and markets, Eze 27:12-25, then follows an account of her destruction, Eze 27:26,27, the lamentation of pilots and mariners because of it, Eze 27:28-32, and of the kings and inhabitants of the isles, and merchants of the people, Eze 27:33-36.
