Jeremiah 1:8

Be not afraid of their faces
Their stern looks, their frowning brows, and angry countenances, which would threaten him with destruction and death: for I am with thee, to deliver thee, saith the Lord;
out of their hands, when in the most imminent danger. The Targum paraphrases the words thus,

``my Word shall be thine help to deliver thee:''
which is true of Christ, the essential Word of God.

6 Ed io risposi: Ahi! Signore Iddio! ecco, io non so parlare; perciocchè io son fanciullo.
7 E il Signore mi disse: Non dire: Io son fanciullo; perciocchè tu andrai dovunque io ti manderò, e dirai tutte le cose che io ti comanderò.
8 Non temer di loro; conciossiachè io sia teco per liberati, dice il Signore.
9 E il Signore distese la sua mano, e mi toccò la bocca. Poi il Signore mi disse: Ecco, io ho messe le mie parole nella tua bocca.
10 Vedi, io ti ho oggi costituito sopra le genti, e sopra i regni; per divellere, per diroccare, per disperdere, e per distruggere; ed altresì per edificare, e per piantare.
