28 Y sucedi贸, cuando dio a luz, que sac贸 la mano el uno , y la partera tom贸 y at贸 a su mano un hilo de grana, diciendo: Este sali贸 primero.

Genesis 38:28

And it came to pass when she travailed
Her birth throes came strong and quick upon her: that [the one] put out [his] hand;
which showed that she was like to have a difficult and dangerous time of it; that the birth was not like to be according to the usual and natural order, which may be considered as a correction for her sin: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying,
this came out first;
she tied this to his wrist, that she might know whose hand it was, and so which was the firstborn; which, to know was a matter of consequence, since to the firstborn there were some special and peculiar privileges.

26 Entonces Jud谩 lo conoci贸, y dijo: M谩s justa es que yo, por cuanto no le he dado a Sela mi hijo. Y nunca m谩s la conoci贸.
27 Y aconteci贸 que al tiempo de dar a luz, he aqu铆 hab铆a dos en su vientre.
28 Y sucedi贸, cuando dio a luz, que sac贸 la mano el uno , y la partera tom贸 y at贸 a su mano un hilo de grana, diciendo: Este sali贸 primero.
29 Y aconteci贸 que tornando 茅l a meter la mano, he aqu铆 su hermano sali贸; y ella dijo: 驴Por qu茅 has hecho sobre ti rotura? Y llam贸 su nombre Fares.
30 Y despu茅s sali贸 su hermano, el que ten铆a en su mano el hilo de grana, y llam贸 su nombre Zara.
