10 Yúshì shén rén cóng biéde lù huí qù , bù cóng Bótèlì lái de yuán lù huí qù .

11 Yǒu yī gè lǎo xiānzhī zhù zaì Bótèlì , tā érzi men lái , jiāng shén rén dāng rì zaì Bótèlì suǒ xíng de yīqiè shì hé xiàng wáng suǒ shuō de huà dōu gàosu le fùqin .

12 Fùqin wèn tāmen shuō , shén rén cóng nǎ tiaó lù qù le ne . érzi men jiù gàosu tā . yuánlái tāmen kànjian nà cóng Yóudà lái de shén rén suǒ qù de lù .

13 Lǎo xiānzhī jiù fēnfu tā érzi men shuō , nǐmen wèi wǒ beì lü . tāmen beì hǎo le lü , tā jiù qí shàng ,

14 Qù zhuīgǎn shén rén , yùjiàn tā zuò zaì xiàngshù dǐ xià , jiù wèn tā shuō , nǐ shì cóng Yóudà lái de shén rén bú shì . tā shuō , shì .

15 Lǎo xiānzhī duì tā shuō , qǐng nǐ tóng wǒ huí jiā chī fàn .

16 Shén rén shuō , wǒ bùkĕ tóng nǐ huí qù jìn nǐde jiā , yĕ bùkĕ zaì zhèlǐ tóng nǐ chī fàn hē shuǐ .

17 Yīnwei yǒu Yēhéhuá de huà zhǔfu wǒ shuō , nǐ zaì nàli bùkĕ chī fàn hē shuǐ , yĕ bùkĕ cóng nǐ qù de yuán lù huí lái .

18 Lǎo xiānzhī duì tā shuō , wǒ yĕ shì xiānzhī , hé nǐ yíyàng . yǒu tiānshǐ fèng Yēhéhuá de méng duì wǒ shuō , nǐ qù bǎ tā daì huí nǐde jiā , jiào tā chī fàn hē shuǐ . zhè dōu shì lǎo xiānzhī kuāng hōng tā .

19 Yúshì shén rén tóng lǎo xiānzhī huí qù , zaì tā jiā lǐ chī fàn hē shuǐ .

20 Èr rén zuòxí de shíhou , Yēhéhuá de huà líndào nà daì shén rén huí lái de xiānzhī ,

21 Tā jiù duì nà cóng Yóudà lái de shén rén shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐ jì wéibeì Yēhéhuá de huà , bù zūnshǒu Yēhéhuá nǐ shén de mìnglìng ,

22 Fǎn dǎo huí lái , zaì Yēhéhuá jìnzhǐ nǐ chī fàn hē shuǐ de dìfang chī le hē le , yīncǐ nǐde shī shēn bùdé rù nǐ lièzǔ de fùnmù .

23 Chī hē wán le , lǎo xiānzhī wèi suǒ daì huí lái de xiānzhī beì lü .

24 Tā jiù qù le , zaì lù shàng yǒu gè shīzi yùjiàn tā , jiāng tā yǎo sǐ , shī shēn dǎo zaì lù shàng , lü zhàn zaì shī shēn pángbiān , shīzi yĕ zhàn zaì shī shēn pángbiān .

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 13

In this chapter is an account of a man of God being sent to exclaim against Jeroboam's altar, and threaten its destruction, of which he gave a sign, which was accomplished, and with it the withering of the king's hand, which was healed upon the prophet's prayer for him, 1Ki 13:1-7, who would have entertained him at his house, but he refused the offer, and departed, 1Ki 13:8-10, but an old prophet in Bethel hearing of him, rode after him, and fetched him back to eat bread with him, through a lie he told him, 1Ki 13:11-19 upon which the word came to the old prophet, threatening the man of God with death for disobeying his command, and which was accordingly executed by a lion that met him in the way, and slew him, 1Ki 13:20-24, of which the old prophet being informed, went and took up his carcass, and buried it in his own sepulchre, where he charged his sons to bury him also when dead, believing that all the man of God had said would be fulfilled, 1Ki 13:25-30 and the chapter is closed with observing the continuance of Jeroboam in his idolatry, 1Ki 13:33,34.
