1 Yēhéhuá de huà yòu líndào wǒ shuō ,

2 Rénzǐ a , nǐ yào fā yùyán shuō , zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , āi zāi zhè rì . nǐmen yīngdāng kū haó .

3 Yīnwei Yēhéhuá de rìzi línjìn , jiù shì mì yún zhī rì , liè guó shòu fá zhī qī .

4 Bì yòu dāo jiàn líndào Āijí . zaì Āijí beì shā zhī rén pú dǎo de shíhou , Gǔshí rén jiù yǒu tòngkǔ , rénmín bì beìlǔ lüè , jī zhǐ bì beì chāihuǐ .

5 Gǔshí rén , Fú rén ( huò zuò lì bǐ yà rén ) , Lùdé rén , zá zú de rénmín , bìng gǔ bā rén , yǐjí tóngméng zhī dì de rén dōu yào yǔ Āijí rén yītóng dǎo zaì dāo xià .

6 Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , fúzhù Āijí de yĕ bì qīng dǎo . Āijí yīn shìlì ér yǒude jiāoào bì jiàng dī wēi . qízhōng de rénmín , cóng sè Fú ní tǎ qǐ ( jiàn èr shí jiǔ zhāng shí jié ) bì dǎo zaì dāo xià . zhè shì zhǔ Yēhéhuá shuō de .

7 Āijí dì zaì huāngliáng de guó zhōng bì chéngwéi huāngliáng . Āijí chéng zaì huāng feì de chéng zhōng yĕ biàn wèi huāng feì .

8 Wǒ zaì Āijí zhōng shǐ huǒ zhe qǐ . bāngzhu Āijí de , dōu beì mièjué . nàshí , tāmen jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

9 Dào nà rì , bì yǒu shǐzhĕ zuò chuán , cóng wǒ miànqián chū qù , shǐ ānyì wú lǜ de Gǔshí rén jīng jù . bì yǒu tòngkǔ líndào tāmen , hǎoxiàng Āijí zāo zāi de rìzi yíyàng . kàn nǎ , zhè shì línjìn le .

14 Wǒ bì shǐ bā tuī luó huāngliáng , zaì suǒ ān zhōng shǐ huǒ zhe qǐ , xiàng nuó shīxíng shĕnpàn .

15 Wǒ bìjiāng wǒde fèn nù dǎo zaì Āijí de bǎo zhàng shang , jiù shì xùn shang , bìng yào jiǎnchú nuó de zhòngrén .

16 Wǒ bì zaì Āijí zhōng shǐ huǒ zhe qǐ . xùn bì dàdà tòngkǔ . nuó bì beì gōng pò . nuó Fú bái rì jiàn chóudí ( bái rì huò zuò zhōng rì ) .

17 Yà wén hé bǐ bó shí de shàonián rén bì dǎo zaì dāo xià . zhèxie chéng de rén bì beìlǔ lüè .

18 Wǒ zaì dá bǐ nì zhé duàn Āijí de zhū è , shǐ tā yīn shìlì ér yǒude jiāoào zaì qízhōng zhǐxī . nàshí , rì guāng bì tuì qù . zhìyú zhè chéng , bì yǒu mì yún zhē bì , qízhōng de nǚzi bì beìlǔ lüè .

22 Suǒyǐ zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , kàn nǎ , wǒ yǔ Āijí wáng fǎlǎo wèi dí , bìjiāng tā yǒulì de bǎngbì hé yǐ dá zhé de bǎngbì quán xíng dǎduàn , shǐ dāo cóng tā shǒu zhōng zhuìluò .

23 Wǒ bìjiāng Āijí rén fēnsàn zaì liè guó , sì sǎn zaì liè bāng .

24 Wǒ bì shǐ Bābǐlún wáng de bǎngbì yǒulì , jiāng wǒde dāo jiāo zaì tā shǒu zhōng . què yào dǎduàn fǎlǎo de bǎngbì , tā jiù zaì Bābǐlún wáng miànqián āi hēng , rútóng shòu sǐ shāng de rén yíyàng .

Yǐsījiēshū 30 Commentary

Chapter 30

A prophecy against Egypt. (1-19) Another. (20-26)

Verses 1-19 The prophecy of the destruction of Egypt is very full. Those who take their lot with God's enemies, shall be with them in punishment. The king of Babylon and his army shall be instruments of this destruction. God often makes one wicked man a scourge to another. No place in the land of Egypt shall escape the fury of the Chaldeans. The Lord is known by the judgments he executes. Yet these are only present effects of the Divine displeasure, not worthy of our fear, compared with the wrath to come, from which Jesus delivers his people.

Verses 20-26 Egypt shall grow weaker and weaker. If lesser judgments do not prevail to humble and reform sinners, God will send greater. God justly breaks that power which is abused, either to put wrongs upon people, or to put cheats upon them. Babylon shall grow stronger. In vain do men endeavour to bind up the arm the Lord is pleased to break, and to strengthen those whom he will bring down. Those who disregard the discoveries of his truth and mercy, shall know his power and justice, in the punishment for their sins.

Chapter Summary

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 30

This chapter is a continuation of the prophecy against Egypt, both against the country and the king of it. It is introduced with expressions of lamentation, because of the destruction coming on, Eze 30:1-3, and not only Egypt, and the cities thereof, should be destroyed, but all her friends, associates, and allies; the Ethiopians, Lydians, Lybians, and others, Eze 30:4-9. Nebuchadnezzar and his army were to be the instruments of her ruin, Eze 30:10-12, particular cities are mentioned by name, which should suffer much, and become desolate, Eze 30:13-19 and then Pharaoh king of Egypt himself is threatened with broken arms, and his people to be scattered among the nations, Eze 30:20-23, and the king of Babylon is again mentioned, whose arms should be strengthened to do all this, Eze 30:24-26.
