1 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō ,

2 Nǐ xiǎoyù Yǐsèliè rén shuō , rén hái tè xǔ de yuàn , beì xǔ de rén yào àn nǐ suǒ gū de jiàzhí guī gĕi Yēhéhuá .

3 Nǐ gū déng de , cóng èr shí suì dào liù shí suì de nánrén , yào àn shèng suǒ de píng , gū déng jià yín wǔ shí Shĕkèlè .

4 Ruò shì nǚrén , nǐ yào gū déng sān shí Shĕkèlè .

5 Ruò shì cóng wǔ suì dào èr shí suì , nánzǐ nǐ yào gū déng èr shí Shĕkèlè , nǚzi gū déng shí Shĕkèlè .

6 Ruò shì cóng yī yuè dào wǔ suì , nánzǐ nǐ yào gū déng wǔ Shĕkèlè , nǚzi gū déng sān Shĕkèlè .

9 Suǒ xǔ de ruò shì shēngchù , jiù shì rén xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá wéi gōngwù de , fán zhè yī leì xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá de , dōu yào chéngwéi shèng .

10 Rén bùkĕ gǎihuàn , yĕ bùkĕ gēnghuàn , huò shì hǎo de huàn huaì de , huò shì huaì de huàn hǎo de . ruò yǐ shēngchù gēnghuàn shēngchù , suǒ xǔ de yǔ suǒ huàn de dōu yào chéngwéi shèng .

11 Ruò shēngchù bù jiéjìng , shì bùkĕ xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá wéi gōngwù de , jiù yào bǎ shēngchù ānzhì zaì jìsī miànqián .

12 Jìsī jiù yào gū déng jiàzhí , shēngchù shì hǎo shì huaì , jìsī zĕnyàng gū déng , jiù yào yǐ zĕnyàng wéi shì .

13 Tā ruò yídéng yào shú huí , jiù yào zaì nǐ suǒ gū déng de jiàzhí yǐwaì jiā shàng wǔ fēn ...zhīyī .

14 Rén jiàng fángwū fēnbié wéi shèng , guī gĕi Yēhéhuá , jìsī jiù yào gū déng jiàzhí . fángwū shì hǎo shì huaì , jìsī zĕnyàng gū déng , jiù yào yǐ zĕnyàng wéi déng .

15 Jiàng fángwū fēnbié wéi shèng de rén , ruò yào shú huí fángwū , jiù bì zaì nǐ suǒ gū déng de jiàzhí yǐwaì jiā shàng wǔ fèn ...zhīyī , fángwū réngjiù guī tā .

16 Rén ruò jiàng chéngshòu wéi yè de jǐ fèn dì fēnbié wéi shèng , guī gĕi Yēhéhuá , nǐ yào àn zhè dì sǎzhǒng duōshào gū déng jiàzhí , ruò sǎ dàmaì yī hè méi Ěr , yào gū jià wǔ shí Shĕkèlè .

17 Tā ruò cóng xǐ nián jiàng dì fēnbié wéi shèng , jiù yào yǐ nǐ suǒ gū déng de jià wéi déng .

18 Tǎngruò tā zaì xǐ nián yǐhòu jiàng dì fēnbié wéi shèng , jìsī jiù yào àn zhe wèi dào xǐ nián suǒ shèng de nián shǔ tuī suàn jiàzhí , yĕ yào cóng nǐ suǒ gū de jiǎn qù jiàzhí .

19 Jiàng dì fēnbié wéi shèng de rén ruò déng yào bǎ dì shú huí , tā biàn yào zaì nǐ suǒ gū de jiàzhí yǐwaì jiā shàng wǔ fèn ...zhīyī , dì jiù zhún déng guī tā .

20 Tā ruò bú shú huí nà dì , huò shì jiàng dì maì gĕi biérén , jiù zaì bùnéng shú le .

21 Dàn dào le xǐ nián , nà dì cóng mǎi zhǔ shǒu xià chūlai de shíhou , jiù yào guī Yēhéhuá wéi shèng , hé yǒng xiàn de dì yíyàng , yào guī jìsī wéi yè .

22 Tā ruò jiàng suǒ mǎi de yī kuaì dì , bù shì chéngshòu wéi yè de , fēnbié wéi shèng guī gĕi Yēhéhuá ,

23 Jìsī jiù yào jiàng nǐ suǒ gū de jiàzhí gĕi tā tuī suàn dào xǐ nián . dàng rì , tā yào yǐ nǐ suǒ gū de jià yín wéi shèng , guī gĕi Yēhéhuá .

24 Dào le xǐ nián , nà dì yào guī maì zhǔ , jiù shì nà chéngshòu wéi yè de yuán zhǔ .

25 Fán nǐ suǒ gū déng de jià yín dōu yào àn zhe shèng suǒ de píng , èr shí jìla wéi yī Shĕkèlè .

26 Wéidú shēngchù zhōng tóushēng de , wúlùn shì niú shì yáng , jì guī Yēhéhuá , shuí yĕ bùkĕ zaì fēnbié wéi shèng , yīnwei zhè shì Yēhéhuá de .

27 Ruò shì bú jiéjìng de shēngchù shēng de , jiù yào àn nǐ suǒ gū déng de jiàzhí jiā shàng wǔ fēn ...zhīyī shú huí , ruò bú shú huí , jiù yào àn nǐ suǒ gū déng de jiàzhí maì le .

28 Dàn yīqiè yǒng xiàn de , jiù shì rén cóng tā suǒ yǒu yǒng xiàn gĕi Yēhéhuá de , wúlùn shì rén , shì shēngchù , shì tā chéngshòu wéi yè de dì , dōu bùkĕ maì , yĕ bùkĕ shú . fán yǒng xiàn de shì guī gĕi Yēhéhuá wéi zhì shèng .

29 Fán cóng rén zhōng dàng miè de dōu bùkĕ shú , bì beì zhìsǐ .

30 Dì shàng suǒyǒude , wúlùn shì dì shàng de zhǒngzǐ shì shù shàng de guǒzi , shí fèn ...zhīyī shì Yēhéhuá de , shì guī gĕi Yēhéhuá wéi shèng de .

31 Rén ruò yào shú zhè shí fèn ...zhīyī de shénme wù , jiù yào jiā shàng wǔ fèn ...zhīyī .

32 Fán niú qún yáng qún zhōng , yīqiè cóng zhàng xià jīngguò de , mĕi dì shí zhǐyào guī gĕi Yēhéhuá wéi shèng .

33 Bùkĕ wèn shì hǎo shì huaì , yĕ bùkĕ gēnghuàn , ruò déng yào gēnghuàn , suǒ gēnghuàn de yǔ bĕnlái de shēngchù dōu yào chéngwéi shèng , bùkĕ shú huí .

Lìwèijì 27 Commentary

Chapter 27

The law concerning vows, Of persons and animals. (1-13) Vows concerning houses and land. (14-25) Devoted things not to be redeemed. (26-33) Conclusion. (34)

Verses 1-13 Zeal for the service of God disposed the Israelites, on some occasions, to dedicate themselves or their children to the service of the Lord, in his house for life. Some persons who thus dedicated themselves might be employed as assistants; in general they were to be redeemed for a value. It is good to be zealously affected and liberally disposed for the Lord's service; but the matter should be well weighed, and prudence should direct as to what we do; else rash vows and hesitation in doing them will dishonour God, and trouble our own minds.

Verses 14-25 Our houses, lands, cattle, and all our substance, must be used to the glory of God. It is acceptable to him that a portion be given to support his worship, and to promote his cause. But God would not approve such a degree of zeal as ruined a man's family.

Verses 26-33 Things or persons devoted, are distinguished from things or persons that were only sanctified. Devoted things were most holy to the Lord, and could neither be taken back nor applied to other purposes. Whatever productions they had the benefit, God must be honoured with the tenth of, if it could be applied. Thus they acknowledge God to be the Owner of their land, the Giver of its fruits, and themselves to be his tenants, and dependants upon him. Thus they gave him thanks for the plenty they enjoyed, and besought his favour in the continuance of it. We are taught to honour the Lord with our substance.

Verse 34 The last verse seems to have reference to this whole book. Many of the precepts in it are moral, and always binding; others are ceremonial, and peculiar to the Jewish nation; yet they have a spiritual meaning, and so teach us; for unto us, by these institutions, is the gospel preached, as well as unto them, Heb. 4:2 . The doctrine of reconciliation to God by a Mediator, is not clouded with the smoke of burning sacrifice, but cleared by the knowledge of Christ and him crucified. We are under the sweet and easy institutions of the gospel, which pronounces those true worshippers, who worship the Father in spirit and truth, by Christ only, and in his name. Yet, let us not think, because we are not tied to the ceremonial rites and oblations, that a little care, time, and expense, will serve to honour God with. Having boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, let us draw near with a true heart, and in full assurance of faith, worshipping God with the more cheerfulness and humble confidence, still saying, BLESSED BE GOD FOR JESUS CHRIST.
