2 Samuel 13:24

And Absalom came to the king
At Jerusalem, to invite him in person:

and said, behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers;
persons employed in shearing his sheep: and this being a time of entertainment and joy,

let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants, go with thy servant;
he invited the king and the whole royal family to go with him to Baalhazor, and partake of the sheepshearing feast; for by "his servants" are not meant the king's domestic servants, his guard and retinue, but his sons, as appears by what follows.

23 Guō le èr nián , zaì kàojìn Yǐfǎlián de bā lì Xiàsuǒ yǒu rén wèi Yēshālóng jiǎn yáng maó . Yēshālóng qǐng wáng de zhòng zǐ yǔ tā tóng qù .

24 Yē Shālóng lái jiàn wáng , shuō , xiànzaì yǒu rén wèi púrén jiǎn yáng maó , qǐng wáng hé wáng de chénpú yǔ púrén tóng qù .

25 Wáng duì Yēshālóng shuō , wǒ ér , wǒmen bù bì dōu qù , kǒngpà shǐ nǐ hàofeì taì duō . Yēshālóng zaì sān qǐng wáng , wáng réng shì bù kĕn qù , zhǐ wèi tā zhùfú .

26 Yē Shālóng shuō , wáng ruò bù qù , qiú wáng xǔ wǒ gēge àn nèn tóng qù . wáng shuō , hébì yào tā qù ne .
