Scripture calls us in Romans to celebrate and empathize with those around us. People are celebrating exciting news, and we join in the rejoicing. However, not every day is going to be a walk in the park. When others come to us in mourning, the response of a believer in Christ should be to mourn with them.

How has Christ impacted your life? How can you show gratitude to Him with your heart and words today? We are invited to come wholeheartedly to the Father. In pondering in your heart, what are some areas of gratefulness that you have for Him? 

Knowing that even before Jesus came, that the heart of our Father was to send the Son and His Holy Spirit so that we filthy undeserving sinners could have redemption and return to His presence should tell us something loud and clear. God loves us.

What are you going through right now? How can the Lord meet you there in His Scriptures? Maybe you are needing a specific passage to read and reflect on, but you never considered praying that passage over your life or a loved one’s life.

There are so many unique topics that we can study within the Scriptures. One of the best things that we can do is to ask questions. We should not be ashamed to ask the Lord our questions; this is often what draws us closer and closer to Him. Sometimes it is fun to ask childlike requests of God. Today, we are going to do just that and discover that an exciting question that a young person might ask, actually reveals a lot to us about our Lord Himself.

This is significant to us as believers in Jesus today because we get to know that He is God. Whether we are encountering a difficulty or we are overcome with happiness, we are called to remember that He is God. We are invited to reflect on this truth because we have been bought at a high price. 

It is an honor and a joy to be salt and light to the earth. We do this not in our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit within us. To God be the glory in our lives. May the world see Jesus today and every day through us.

If the Lord felt it important enough to say at the start, we should take note. He is telling us a message of something that we will need to know and understand as a foundation for the rest of the book. But this is not just any book, this is the perfect, holy Word of God.

The Lord is still calling us today and inviting us to follow Him and share His gospel to others so that His name will be glorified in this generation.

I know the Lord has a plan, and we are part of His plan. If we neglect to share the hope of the gospel with the generations to come while we have influence, there will be many people missing the hope of salvation, and the church will dissolve into very little in our country.

My husband loves to look through his telescope and stand amazed at outer space. As we view the night sky with the constellations, the stars, the moon, and the planets, may it humble us in realizing how small we truly are in this great universe and how grand our Creator is over all.

We do not wake up each day hoping the sun will come up, because it is the regular faithfulness of the Lord Creator who perfectly keeps our solar system running in order. There are so many little things that we can easily neglect to acknowledge the Lord is at work in each day.

The beautiful part about teaching Scriptures to young people is that we too get to learn. Even if we know a verse that we are teaching, it is a wonderful refresher and reminder of the Biblical truth. We are all growing together.
