6 Sǎoluó zaì jī bǐ yà de Lāmǎ , zuò zaì chuísīliǔ shù xià , shǒu lǐ ná zhe qiāng , zhòng chénpú shì lì zaì zuǒyòu . Sǎoluó tīngjian Dàwèi hé gēnsuí tāde rén zaì héchu ,

7 Jiù duì zuǒyòu shì lì de chénpú shuō , Biànyǎmǐn rén nǎ , nǐmen yào tīng wǒde huà . Yēxī de érzi néng jiāng tiándì hé pútaóyuán cìgĕi nǐmen gèrén ma . néng lì nǐmen gèrén zuò qiā fū zhǎng bǎifūzhǎng ma .

8 Nǐmen jìng dōu jiédǎng haì wǒ . wǒde érzi yǔ Yēxī de érzi jié míng de shíhou , wú rén gàosu wǒ . wǒde érzi tiǎosuo wǒde chén zǐ móu haì wǒ , jiù rújīn rì de guāngjǐng , yĕ wú rén gàosu wǒ , wèi wǒ yōulǜ .

9 Nàshí Yǐdōng rén duō yì zhàn zaì Sǎoluó de chénpú zhōng , duì tā shuō , wǒ céng kànjian Yēxī de érzi dào le Nuóbǎi , Yàxītūde érzi yà xī mǐ lè nàli .

10 Yà xī mǐ lè wèi tā qiú wèn Yēhéhuá , yòu gĕi tā shíwù , bìng gĕi tā shā Fēilìshì rén gē Lìyà de dāo .

11 Wáng jiù dǎfa rén jiāng jìsī Yàxītūde érzi yà xī mǐ lè hé tā fùqin de quán jiā , jiù shì zhù Nuóbǎi de jìsī dōu zhào le lái . tāmen jiù lái jiàn wáng .

12 Sǎoluó shuō , Yàxītūde érzi , yào tīng wǒde huà . tā huídá shuō , Zhǔ a , wǒ zaì zhèlǐ .

13 Sǎoluó duì tā shuō , nǐ wèishénme yǔ Yēxī de érzi jiédǎng haì wǒ , jiāng shíwù hé dāo gĕi tā , yòu wèi tā qiú wèn shén , shǐ tā qǐlai móu haì wǒ , jiù rújīn rì de guāngjǐng .

14 Yà xī mǐ lè huídá wáng shuō , wáng de chénpú zhōng yǒu shuí bǐ Dàwèi zhōngxīn ne . tā shì wáng de nǚxù , yòu shì wáng de sān móu , bìngqiĕ zaì wáng jiā zhōng shì zūnguì de .

15 Wǒ qǐ shì cóng jīnrì cái wèi tā qiú wèn shén ne . duàn bú shì zhèyàng . wáng búyào jiāng zuì guī wǒ hé wǒ fù de quán jiā . yīnwei zhè shì , wúlùn dà xiǎo , púrén dōu bù zhīdào .

16 Wáng shuō , yà xī mǐ lè a, nǐ hé nǐ fù de quán jiā dōu shì gāisǐ de .

17 Wáng jiù fēnfu zuǒyòu de shì wèi shuō , nǐmen qù shā Yēhéhuá de jìsī . yīnwei tāmen bāngzhu Dàwèi , yòu zhīdào Dàwèi taópǎo , jìng méiyǒu gàosu wǒ . Sǎoluó de chén zǐ què bù kĕn shēnshǒu shā Yēhéhuá de jìsī .

18 Wáng fēnfu duō yì shuō , nǐ qù shā jìsī ba . Yǐdōng rén duō yì jiù qù shā jìsī , nà rì shā le chuān xìmábù Yǐfúdé de bā shí wǔ rén .

19 Yòu yòng dāo jiāng jìsī chéng Nuóbǎi zhōng de nánnǚ , háitóng , chī nǎi de , hé niú , yáng , lü jǐn dōu shā miè .

20 Yàxītū de érzi yà xī mǐ lè yǒu yī gè érzi , míng jiào yà bǐ yà tā , taó dào Dàwèi nàli .

21 Yà bǐ yà tā jiāng Sǎoluó shā Yēhéhuá jìsī de shì gàosu Dàwèi .

22 Dàwèi duì yà bǐ yà tā shuō , nà rì wǒ jiàn Yǐdōng rén duō yì zaì nàli , jiù zhīdào tā bì gàosu Sǎoluó . nǐ fù de quán jiā sàngméng , dōu shì yīn wǒde yuángù .

23 Nǐ kĕyǐ zhù zaì wǒ zhèlǐ , búyào jùpà . yīnwei xún suǒ nǐ méng de jiù shì xún suǒ wǒde méng . nǐ zaì wǒ zhèlǐ kĕ dé bǎoquán .

INTRODUCTION TO FIRST SAMUEL 22

This chapter gives us an account of the flight of David from place to place, from Gath to the cave of Adullam, where his relations came to him; from thence to Mizpeh in Moab, where he got leave of the king of Moab for his father and mother to dwell there; and from thence, by the advice of Gad the prophet, departed into the land of Judah, and came to the forest of Hareth, 1Sa 21:1-5; and of the complaint of Saul to his servants of their unfaithfulness to him, and indolence and unconcern at the behaviour of Jonathan and David to him, 1Sa 22:6-8; when Doeg the Edomite informed him of David being seen by him at Nob, and of his receiving food and a sword from Ahimelech the priest, who inquired of the Lord for him, 1Sa 22:9,10; upon which Saul sent for Ahimelech and all the priests at Nob, and charged them with a conspiracy against him; and notwithstanding the defence the priest made, Saul ordered him and the rest of the priests to be slain by his guards; which they refusing, Doeg became the executioner of them, and of all the inhabitants of the city of Nob, and the cattle in it, 1Sa 22:11-19; only Abiathar a son of Ahimelech escaped and fled to David with the sorrowful news; which greatly affected David, looking upon himself to be the occasion of this sad disaster, and he took Abiathar under his protection, and promised him safety, 1Sa 22:20-23.
