What does the Bible say about the End Times?

Below you will find popular Bible verses about the end times, the last days of the earth. The study of end times theology is called "eschatology". While Revelations contains the most well-known passages in the Bible for studying the end times, there are many Old and New Testament passages that speak prophecy of the future events. We do not need to fear the End Times! We should study Bible prophecies so we can be prepared for the return of Christ.

There are three main events that make up the End Times: the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and the Second Coming of Christ. Scripture commands us: "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people." (2 Timothy 3:1-5). As the difficult times of the last days approach, let us stay steadfast in devotion to God and His word. Mark 13:5-23
